Arrival in the morning at São Luis do Maranhão
(island) – considered a jewel of colonial architecture.
The
city was recognized by UNESCO as World Patrimony in 1997. Transfer
to the Hotel. In the afternoon
historical city tour. Return to the Hotel. Overnight at São
Luis.

2
After breakfast, regular transfer to Barreirinhas
between 05:00am and 06:00am. It takes about 3h30m.
The municipal district of Barreirinhas is the entrance to the
National Park of Lençóis Maranhenses. Tour by
boat through the Preguiça River. Our destination is the
APA (Área de Proteção Ambiental –
Environment
Protection Area) of the Pequenos Lençóis. Stop
for lunch at Caburé (included). Free afternoon. Overnight
at
Caburé.
Day
3
After breakfast, tour to the Mandacaru village. It
is a typical fisherman community. After the visit, we will see
the view of the dunes and Preguiça River from the lighthouse.
Stop for lunch (not included). and transfer
to Barreirinhas. Accommodation at Barreirinhas.
Day
4
After breakfast, full day tour to the National Park.
Here we will have an idea of the beauty and the dimension
of Lençóis Maranhenses. It takes about 2 hours
in 4WD and than an hour walking to get to the lagoons.
Lunch box is included. Return to Barreirinhas in the end of
the afternoon. Overnight.

5
Free morning and in the afternoon at 05:00pm regular
transfer to São Luis. It takes about 3h30m. Arrival
at São Luis and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight.

6
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take the
flight to your next destination.
